Our new Believe In Magic page!

I am very proud to announce that we have made a new page to support the amazing charity called Believe In Magic. The charity is based in the UK and was started by a teenage girl called Meg, who like us, is a Directioner aswell! After seeing so many other very poorly children is Hospital (as she is ill herself), Meg wanted to spread magic to seriously and terminally ill children and was inspired. Basically Believe In Magic brings magic to children through very special and once in lifetime experiences, magical parties, professional photographs, and celebrity visits and gifts for children in hospitals and hospices. They will do anything they can to put that all important smile on the children’s faces! They bring magic and hope to the lives of many incredibly brave and truly inspirational children, and give then the fun, happiness and wonderful experiences that they deserve. The charity is supported by many celebrities, including our very own One Direction, some of the cast from the Harry Potter movies, Harry Styles’ mother, Anne Cox (who actually volunteers) and many more!

So please take the time to check out our new page for more information on this charity and how you can donate and help:

And i can proudly announce that once the new theme is done, we will be supporting the Believe In Magic charity! I’ve been tweeting Anne (Harry Styles’ mum who helps run the charity) and she thinks its a great idea! I’ve also been in contact with Meg’s (Meg started the charity Believe In Magic) mum, and i will be telling her about this tumblr and how we are going to promote it, soon! But more on that later!

Also, you might have noticed that our ‘About Agony Aunt’ link on the sidepage isn’t working right now? This will be fixed in the new theme; In the meantime, if you would like to know more about this tumblr, just ask!

Hello followers! Would anyone be interested in helping me create a new theme for this blog?

As we are getting more popular, and seem to be receiving quite a lot of messages, i think it would be good to have a new theme; something thats inviting and personalised, so that Directioners want to come and ask questions… something that makes it more official. So if anyone is interested, then please message me and let me know, because it would be greatly appreciated! I do ask though, that you are not anonymous, just so it makes things easier for us to communicate.

Please message me here:

I would like to get started as soon as possible, so please message!

5 Ways to Boost Your Own Self Esteem

1. Move your body.

I know it seems like exercise is the answer to almost everything that ails us, but this is no exception. Being physically active helps release endorphins which can boost your mood short-term, but it can also improve your overall confidence. Regular exercise may make you feel more connected to your body, which can lead to feelings of empowerment and control. Rocking shapely legs doesn’t hurt the self esteem, either.

2. Make something.

Sew a skirt, make a wreath, build a birdhouse, try out that recipe for homemade salsa. It doesn’t matter what you make, but use your hands and focus on a project with tangible results. For bloggers and graphic designers, that means turning off the computer and focusing on 3D creations. Getting crafty, even if you don’t get Etsy-worthy results, often results in a sense of accomplishment. You might also find you’re flexing muscles (in your body and your brain) that don’t normally get much of a workout.

3. Be a winner.

What are your strengths? Spend some time soaring with them to give your ego a boost. If you’ve got great planning skills, throw a party. Athletically inclined? Sign up for a race or join a community team. Go fishing for excellence in the areas you know you excel and you’re likely to walk away feeling like a winner. This might be especially important if you’ve been spending a lot of time learning something new, an important but often frustrating task that put a short-term strain on your sense of self.

4. Hang out with people who love you.

Do your girlfriends get you? Is your spouse your biggest fan? Make a date to spend an evening catching up with people who laugh at your jokes and make you laugh at theirs. Take a night off from returning phone calls to family members that make you question every decision you’ve made since high school graduation; unplug from social media networks that might leaving you feeling more competitive than social. Quality time with people you love — and who love you — is like Miracle Grow for the soul.

5. Dress up.

Whether you’re going out for that date night, getting together for movies with friends, or just having game night with the family, make a point of getting yourself gussied up. Take some extra care with your hair, put on your favorite sweater, and give your reflection a big grin. Spending a little time on personal appearance is an easy reminder to yourself that you’re worth the love and attention.

Welcome Directioners!

As my first post, i would just like to say hello and welcome to this very new blog! I had the idea to start this when i recently notcied that quite a few directioners were asking for advice, so, i thought, why not give them a place where they could get some help, or a second opinion?

As i have just started this account, messages seem to be coming in steady and bearable; however, if i do start to get too many messages to handle, i may start ‘hiring’ fellow teenage directioners to become Agony Aunts and help me answer posts! Though we might not even get to that stage, so for now its just a thought, but i will be looking forward to this!

Also, for fellow Australian directioners, i will sometime in the next week or two, put a page up where you can find websites and links to associations for any extra help. Such as the Kids helpline, and many more, so stay tuned!

Everyone else, i will be posting about One Direction, and very feel good and body happy pictures, and text posts, aswell as answered Messages so please enjoy, and any feedback would be appreciated!

And Please read the ‘About Agony Aunt’ page for more important information!
